Der ehemalige OMEN Sänger ist am 3. Oktober an seinem Krebsleiden verstorben.
OMENs Gitarrist Kenny Powell möchte den Fans folgendes mitteilen:
"I am extremely proud of the work that J.D. and I did together, he wasone of the true innovators of the early powermetal style. His contributions on the early Omen records left a lastingimpression on the metal music world andstill influence fans and musicians alike 20 years later. It is with deepregret that I learned of his passing, he will be missed. Sincerely,Kenny Powell."
