Offizielle Verlautbarung vom Wacken Open Air:
"Wie mittlerweile jeder weiß: Iced Earth haben bisher keinen Sänger gefunden und können somit auch nicht in Wacken auftreten. Wir haben lange überlegt und wollen Euch natürlich einen Ersatz bieten:

TWISTED SISTER werden am 1. August auf dem W:O:A auftreten.
Nach der geilen Show gestern in Balingen, freuen wir uns auf die New-Yorker-Kult Band in der originalen Besetzung. The Return of the sick motherfuckers!!!"

"Hello All,
Regretfully, we will not be able to perform at the festival this year. I'm very sorry that this had to happen but there was really no other choice for the future of the band.
I want you all to have a great time anyway, there's a lot of great acts playing there and I'm sure it will be awesome.
